The Short Version
This game is built to be played without an account. We don't collect your name, email, or payment info. Your in-progress draft and saved leaderboard scores are saved to your own browser — they never leave your device unless you choose to share a result. That's basically it.
This policy covers the current state of the site. It should be reviewed by a professional before accounts, ads, analytics, or payments are added.
What We Store
The game uses your browser's local storage to save an in-progress draft and local leaderboard scores. Draft data includes your selected mode, current rolled team, drafted players, filled lineup slots, and related game state. Leaderboard data includes the nickname you enter, win-loss record, team score, mode, category scores, roster summary, and submission time. It stays on your device. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser.
What We Don't Collect
- No account or registration required.
- No payment data collected by the game.
- No tracking or advertising cookies intentionally set.
- No public leaderboard or server-submitted score data collected in the current version.
The Share Button
If you use Share Result, your browser's native share sheet opens or your result is copied to the clipboard. The game does not send that result to a server. Anything you post or send through another app is covered by that app's own privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Current-season data may be requested from the public MLB Stats API when local historical data isn't available. Historical data is derived from the Lahman Baseball Database. These services may receive basic technical information from your browser — IP address, browser type, and requested URLs — when your browser connects to them.
Server Logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information — IP address, browser type, referring pages, and timestamps. These logs are used for security, debugging, and reliability.
Cookies
The game does not set its own tracking cookies. Third-party services or browser-level features may use cookies according to their own policies.
Children
This is a general-audience baseball game not designed to collect information from children. If a parent or guardian has concerns, contact us and we'll address it promptly.
Future Changes
If accounts, analytics, advertising, email signup, public leaderboards, or server score submission are added, this policy will be updated before those features launch.
