Pick a league pool.All Leagues gives the wildest board. Single-league pools make the puzzle tighter and more theme-driven.
Protect the spine.GK, CB, DM, AM, and ST drive the biggest swings. Weakness through the middle hurts more than a weak wide slot.
Role fit matters.A creator belongs at AM/CM, a finisher belongs at ST, and a defensive fullback should not be wasted as your best winger.
Use re-rolls carefully.Re-rolls save a bad board, but the shot clock restarts and the next team may not fit your open slots.
